The process involves collecting body fluid by natural flow. An anticoagulant and/or preservation solution is added by pumping. Flow of the collected fluid is measured. Speed of the pumping is controlled according to the measured flow. A ratio is determined between quantity of collected fluid and quantity of anticoagulant and/or preservation solution continuously during the fluid collection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a body fluid collecting machine (b) a body fluid collecting system.
