<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform correction of partial magnification error in a main scan direction and total magnification in a simple configuration, and make the magnification in the main scan direction to be uniform over a full range of the main scan direction to improve image quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging device, wherein a latent image is formed on a photoreceptor by LD exposure and an image is formed on a recording paper by performing developing, transferring, and fixing, and the LD exposure is performed by, according to image data in synchronization with a pixel clock, deflecting a laser beam irradiated from a laser source by a beam deflector to pass through a predetermined optical path, the pixel clock is generated based on a predetermined clock that is faster than the pixel clock, and pixel clock generation phase is changed by one pixel as a unit, thereby partial magnification error in a main scan direction and total magnification are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
