<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin composite for a color filter for which a casting coating process is adopted when coating a large substrate for a liquid crystal display, which does not cause linear and cloudy scars and which is excellent in uniformity of coating on a substrate, has small variation in the thickness of the film around the substrate, and further is developable by using an alkaline developing solution. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive resin composite for the color filter comprises (A) an alkaline soluble resin, (B) a polymeric compound with unsaturated linkage(s) of ethylene series, (C) a photo-polymerization initiator, (D) a solvent, and (E) a coloring agent. The photosensitive resin composite is characterized in that the viscosity is in the range of 2.0 to 5.0 cps at 25°C; and its solid content is 10 to 18 wt%; and the contact angle between the photosensitive resin composite and the large substrate for the liquid crystal display is 25 degrees or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
