<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch taking-out joint for quickly and easily connecting a branch pipe, and also reusing a cutter member. <P>SOLUTION: This branch taking-out joint is used for connecting the branch pipe 8 to a main pipe 2 composed of a thermoplastic resin, and is composed of a saddle part 12 fused on a surface of the main pipe, a branch pipe connecting pipe part 14 branching off so as to be substantially orthogonal to an axial line 2A of the main pipe from the saddle part, a cutter inserting pipe part 16 for inserting a cutter member 18 for cutting a side part of the main pipe by branching off in the direction different from the branch pipe connecting pipe part from the saddle part, a cover member 32 rockably supported by an inner wall of the saddle part and capable of closing a branch port of the cutter inserting pipe part in a sealed state by external force and a stopper member 38 arranged in the cover member and preventing the cover member from excessively rotating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
