<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easy drawing and removal. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of removal of an existing pipe 1 embedded underground, in the method for forming a standing pile 2 extending to a base end part of a portion 1b to be removed of the existing pipe 1, separating the portion 1b to be removed of the existing pipe 1 from a remaining portion 1a of the existing pipe 1, and then drawing out and removing the portion 1b to be removed inside the standing pile 2, after a bearing body 10 is arranged abutting to the substantial entire of the annular tip face of the separated portion 1b to be removed, the portion 1b to be removed is drawn out and removed inside the standing pile 2 via the bearing body 10.
