PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demodulation circuit and an information reproducing device capable of improving information reading efficiency regarding a demodulation circuit and an information reproducing device for measuring the pulse width of a reproducing signal based on a basic clock, and identifying a predetermined pulse width based on the result of the measurement to execute decoding. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pulse width measuring means 32 for measuring the pulse width of a reproducing pulse, a criterion calculating means 24 for calculating a criterion to determine a pulse width preset based on the distribution of the pulse width measured by the pulse width measuring means 32, pulse determining means 32, 34 for determining the set pulse width based on the criterion calculated by the criterion calculating means 24, and a demodulating means 32 for demodulating the reproducing pulse to the original information based on the determination result by the pulse determining means 32, 34.
