PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional garbage collection that the performance is lowered by the overhead because a content text switch is involved. SOLUTION: In the Java virtual machine 36 of a digital television receiver 10, an interpreter processing part 26 executes a Java program in thread units to conform each thread to a task in 1:1, which is an object of scheduling by a kernel 20. A generation processing part 28 generates an object in each thread, and a memory management part 30 assigns a heap area to each object. A real-time management part 32 manages the real time degree of every thread, and a GC processing part 34 executes GC processing to an interruption period based on the real time degree.
