PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and an image processing program capable of displaying an optional object by composing a view based on an image while making maximum use of a geometric shape acquired by measurement. SOLUTION: In this image processing device, using a two-dimensional image obtained by photographing a drawn object from a plurality of different photographing directions and a range image of the drawn object, the object is drawn from a predetermined sight line direction by means of a method using micro face billboarding. In this method, a geometric shape of the drawn object is found from the range image and the like to be approximated by an assembly of the micro faces varied in their directions depending on the line of sight. On each of the micro faces, the two-dimensional image selected from the line of sight and the photographing direction is pasted as texture, and consequently, the object or a landscape with an optional shape can be drawn efficiently.
