PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deceleration controller capable of effectively executing a deceleration control operation. SOLUTION: This deceleration controller is provided with a curve status detecting means (steps S3 and S4) for detecting the status of the front curve of its own vehicle, a decelerating means (step S15) for starting deceleration control in a predetermined timing based on the status of the front curve detected by the curve status detecting means and its own speed, an intersection detecting means (step S5) for detecting that the curve detected by the curve status detecting means is present in the intersection and a deceleration control start timing changing means (step S13) for delaying the timing when it is detected that the curve is present in the intersection by the intersection detecting means.
