PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection device for surely comprehending the situation of internal defect occurrence, and making adequate manufacturing conditions for plate-shaped molded items and round bar-shaped molded items. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a defect information storing means for storing therein the occurrence regions and size of internal defects in an inspected body, a manufacturing condition storing means for storing therein the manufacturing conditions on the inspected body, and a data analyzing means for statistically processing the tendencies of occurrence of internal defects for the respective manufacturing conditions based on information on internal defect occurrence regions of the inspected body corresponding to the respective manufacturing conditions to select optimum manufacturing conditions for the respective molded items.
