PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plastic padding material for a garment having moderate stiffness and flexibility. SOLUTION: The plastic padding material for a garment has a part 1 where a sectional surface shape in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is a rectangular shape having an aspect ratio 1.5-10 or an ellipse having an aspect ratio of 1.5-10, and a part 2 where a sectional surface shape in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is a shape shown in [Fig.2] satisfying the following conditions (1) and (2): (1) an outer diameter has an aspect ratio of 1.5-10, and (2) both of upper and lower end parts comprise wide areas E1 and E2 when the longer axis direction corresponds to a vertical direction, and comprises a thin-width area C joined to the areas E1 and E2 at the center part thereof.
