PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a vehicular air conditioner capable of improving an adjustment performance for an air humidity and a vehicular air conditioner. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for controlling a vehicular air conditioner comprising a thermal medium circulating circuit 105 where the thermal medium circulates, a refrigerant circulating circuit 104 where refrigerant circulates, and a refrigerant-thermal medium heat exchanger 124 for performing a heat exchanging operation between these thermal medium circulating circuit 105 and the refrigerant circulating circuit 104. A circulating flow rate of the thermal medium is reduced more than a circulating flow rate under a normal heating operation during a predetermined period starting from the heating operation.
