PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing metal container using color steel sheet is provided to substantially lower production cost and prevent deterioration of working environment and discharge of environmental contaminants by manufacturing a metal container having superior quality on which required colors are coated through one forming process only by deep drawing press. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing a seamless metal container by blanking a thin steel sheet formed by cold rolling in a disk shape and deep drawing the blanked steel sheet by press, the method comprises a step of blanking a color steel sheet(10) in a disk shape as a steel sheet used in the metal container, wherein the color steel sheet is formed by coating a high heat resistant high polymer resin layer(13) on upper and lower surfaces of a galvanized thin steel sheet; a press oil coating step of coating a volatile press oil(35) on upper and lower surfaces of the blanked color steel sheet; a container forming step of putting the press oil coated color steel sheet on a lower die of deep drawing press and deep drawing the color steel sheet into a metal container by stopper and punch installed at an upper die after finishing the press oil coating step; a postprocessing step of performing bending processing or flange processing on the formed metal container after finishing the container forming step; and a high temperature drying step of removing the press oil by drying the press oil remaining on the surface of the formed metal container in the temperature range of 80 to 100 deg.C after finishing the postprocessing step, wherein the process further comprises a heating step of heating the color steel sheet to the temperature range of 20 to 30 deg.C by passing the blanked color steel sheet through a heater(20) before performing the press oil coating step.
