Dishwasher with drying system

A dishwasher has a wash chamber (10a) with openings (12,20) by which humid air is drawn out by a fan and cooled before being returned to the chamber. The fan (18) comprises two stages (18a,18b), a first stage (18a) for drawing out the humid air and for returning it to the wash chamber (10a), and a second stage (18b) for drawing fresh air from outside the chamber and for using it for cooling the humid air drawn out from the wash chamber (10a), therefore condensing the water vapour contained in such humid air. <IMAGE>
