Exhaust silencer

The silencer (1) has a bath-shaped self-bearing metal bottom part (3), with side walls (8) and end walls (6, 7) round its bottom (5), and with transverse walls (10, 11). An inflow tube (13) passes through the first end wall and the transverse walls and is fixed to this end wall. There is a bath-shaped plastic cover to provide a gas-proof seal for the bottom part.
