PURPOSE: A humidifier is provided to easily clean an ultrasonic vibrator by easily separating a humidifying container from a humidifier. CONSTITUTION: A water tank(20) is installed in a housing(10), having a space part(21) for storing water and a discharge port for discharging the stored water. A humidifying container(30) has a receiving unit(34) for receiving water supplied from the water tank, and an ultrasonic vibrator(32) for making water into droplets, wherein the humidifying container is installed detachably to the housing by a connecting element. The connecting element includes a valve equipment opening and closing a waterway connecting the discharge port of the water tank with the receiving unit. In the case that the humidifying container is installed in the housing, the valve equipment opens the waterway to supply water from the water tank to the humidifying container. In the case that the humidifying container is separated from the housing, the valve equipment closes the waterway to prevent water from being discharged from the water tank. |
