PURPOSE: Provided are a lightfast colorant which comprises cinnamate derivative chemically bonded with colorant and has lightfastness in the molecule itself, and a lightfast ink composition comprising the same. CONSTITUTION: The lightfast colorant is represented by formula 1. In the formula 1, R' is halogen, nitro group, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1-C20, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group of C1-C20, substituted or unsubstituted oxycarbonylalkyl group of C2-C20, substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of C6-C18, or substituted or unsubstituted arylalkylene group of C7-C19, R is substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group of C1-C30, substituted or unsubstituted alkenylene group of C1-C30, substituted or unsubstituted alkynylene group of C1-C30, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkylene group of C1-C30, substituted or unsubstituted arylene group of C6-C30, substituted or unsubstituted alkylene arylene group of C7-C30, substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylene group of C3-C30, or substituted or unsubstituted hetero(alkylene arylene) group of C4-C30, X is -CONH-, -NHCO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -CO-, -SO2-, -SO3-, -O-P(=O)(OH)-O- or -O-P(OH)-O- bonds, and Y is colorant residue.
