The implant (6) has a tool engagement device (8) formed to allow exertion of a rotation force on the implant. It comprises at least one recess provided in the inside of the implant body (7), in which the tool (9), pref. of the spanner type, can be inserted. The recess comprises an inner hexagon on the inside of the implant body. In the recess for introduction of a tool, two extensions are provided which act as axial stops for the tool. The implant has differing diameters and the sides (14,15), between which the smallest dia. extends are parallel and smooth.
