The process involves operating in a normal functioning mode to perform a temporary action on a control unit of a command transmitter (24) to cause a continuous movement of a closing unit e.g. commercial gate. A degraded functioning mode causes a continuous movement of the closing unit through continuous action on the control unit. The mode is selected based on detection of sensors in working state by detection unit. An independent claim is also included for a security installation for maneuvering a closing unit e.g. commercial gate.
