<p>PURPOSE: A thin-type projection optical system is provided to conveniently carry with the projection-type optical system by manufacturing a thin-type projection and is provided to reduce a height of a set by adjusting the thin-type projection optical system to a projector and a projection TV optical system. CONSTITUTION: A thin-type projection optical system includes a lamp(1), a color splitting unit(3), an illumination mixing unit(4), a path changing prism(6), and a TIR prism(8). The lamp(1) includes a bulb and a reflection mirror. The bulb generates light. The reflection mirror reflects the light. The color splitting unit(3) splits colors of the light by rotating the light projected by the lamp(1). The illumination mixing unit(4) changes the light having irregular intensity into light having uniform intensity. The path changing prism(6) changes paths of light uniformly projected from the illumination mixing unit(4).</p> |
