PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wiring board for high frequency capable of improving high-frequency transmitting characteristics by using dielectric porcelain having a low dielectric constant and a high Q value as an insulating substrate. SOLUTION: The wiring board capable of transmitting a high-frequency signal of >=1 GHz frequency is disposed on the surface or in the interior of an insulating substrate 1 to obtain the objective wiring board for high frequency. The insulating substrate 1 contains a principal component that is a multiple oxide of Mg, Al and Si as metallic elements and 0.1-10 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of Ga2 O3 )Ga based on 100 pts.wt. of the principal component. The compsn. of oxides of the metallic elements by molar ratio is represented by the formula xMgO.yAl2 O3 .zSiO2 (where 10<=x<=40, 10<=y<=40, 20<=z<=80 and x+y+z=100). |
