摘要
本发明之课题系提供一种可容易且低成本地制作液晶配向精度高、配向缺陷情形少的相位差板之方法。本发明系有关一种制造相位差板之方法,该相位差板具有长条辊状透明载体及在其一侧上的由2层以上液晶性化合物所成之光学异方向性层,该方法包括在连续移动的载体上涂覆配向膜,(a)对该载体之形成有配向膜侧的表面作摩擦,(b)在经摩擦的表面上涂覆含有液晶性化合物的组成物,(c)使以步骤(b)涂覆的组成物硬化形成光学异方向性层,(d)在没有将该载体卷取下,重复使骤(a)~(c)至少一次,(e)卷取该载体,之步骤。
