PURPOSE: A drum brake is provided to suppress a slip phenomenon between linings and a drum by preventing a leading shoe and a trailing shoe from deflecting in a direction while the leading shoe and the trailing shoe are restored, when a parking brake is released. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake has a drum rotating together with a wheel; a back plate(200) fastened to a part of a vehicle body correspondently to the drum, with a bolt; a leading shoe(300') and a trailing shoe(300); and an operation lever for parking one end of which is rotatably joined to a web(310) of the trailing shoe. Linings are adhered to the leading shoe and to the trailing shoe, to have a braking function through friction with the inner peripheral surface of the drum. The operation lever for parking outwardly operates the leading shoe and the trailing shoe. A fixing bracket(900) is fixed to the back plate. The leading shoe and the trailing shoe are elastically supported to the fixing bracket. Each fixing piece(340',340) is formed to the leading shoe and to the trailing shoe. Elastic members(910'910) are connected between the fixing pieces and the fixing bracket.
