摘要 PURPOSE: A method for detecting a location recognizing mark for a robot cleaner and the robot cleaner using the same method are provided to enable the robot cleaner to precisely detect the location recognizing mark even if marks similar to the location recognizing mark are formed at the ceiling of a cleaning area. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting a location recognizing mark for a robot cleaner comprises the steps of: extracting marks from an image photographed by a camera(S10); determining whether the marks are in accord with location recognizing marks(S20); determining whether the distance between the marks is in accord with the distance between the location recognizing marks(S30); determining whether the image around the marks is in accord with the image around the location recognizing marks(S40); and setting the marks as the location recognizing marks(S50).
