PURPOSE: A method and device for connecting pipes is provided to perfectly prevent the leakage of water by filling minute gaps between the pipes and connection members with filler. CONSTITUTION: A device for connecting pipes is composed of a plurality of connection members(21,22), and a packing(40) installed between the outer circumferences(10a) of the pipes(10) and the inner circumferences(21a,22a) of the connection members and preventing leakage of water. Filling grooves(28) are formed at the inner circumferences of the connection members, and are connected to each other. An injection port(29) is formed at one filling groove. Filler is injected into the filling grooves through the injection port.
