PURPOSE: A disk brake is provided to restore the pad plate actively with elastic force by modifying the shape of a pad spring and reducing residual drag, and to manufacture and install the disk brake easily by simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A pad spring(80) of a disk brake is installed between a carrier and pad plates to prevent vibration of the pad plate and to return the pad plate in releasing braking pressure. The pad spring is composed of a guide part(81) inserted to the support groove of the pad plate to guide sliding of the pad plate, both side supporting parts(83) supporting the pad plates, a connecting part(84) connecting the upper parts of the supporting parts, and an elastic supporting part(82) having a free end protruded and curved from the supporting part. The guide part is integrally connected to the elastic supporting part in the pad spring.
