The trailer has a hanging unit with a framework (9) linked to an auto-carrier (2) by a link (10, 11) forming an articulation. The framework integrated to a three-point linkage of a tractor has two lower hanging points (12) and a higher hanging point (13). The link is displaced vertically relative to a horizontal axis of articulation of the framework passing through the lower hanging points. An independent claim is also included for a process for implementing a road-trailer.
