PURPOSE: A method for attaching films for backlight of an LC panel and a system thereof are provided to automatically attach films to an LC panel module to evenly distribute backlight to the front surface of the LC panel, thereby reducing working time and improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: A system for attaching a backlight film of an LC panel includes a film supplier(100), a module carrier(500), film attaching units(700), and a controller(900). The film supplier supplies films from film elements by rotating rolls mounted with the film elements by a predetermined length. The module carrier carries module jigs(520) securing a module along predetermined rails by a predetermined length horizontally. The film attaching units have adsorption pads to hold the withdrawn films. The adsorption pads move horizontally and vertically in axes x,y,z, so that the held films are stacked on the module carried by the module carrier. The controller controls the operation of the film supplier, the module carrier, and the film attaching units in synchronization, and controls the operation of all parts according to various sensing signals.
