PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means in a chip for nucleic acid detection for improving the detection sensitivity of a sensor for detecting nucleic acids such as DNA. SOLUTION: Hydrophilic polymers are fixed to the surface of the sensor chip in such a way as to be in a raised state in the chip surface. In the surface of the sensor chip, nucleic acids are directly or indirectly fixed to gaps between the hydrophilic polymers on the chip surface in such a way as to be in a raised state from the chip surface. By providing such a chip surface etc., for detecting the nucleic acids, it is possible to achieve the means in the chip for nucleic acid detection for improving the detection sensitivity of the sensor for detecting the nucleic acids such as DNA.
