PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system for the collective housing in which more convenient additional functions such as the prevention of abuse of the extension communication of the interphone system for the collective housing capable of communicating between the master units of dwelling units in respective dwelling units of the collective housing. SOLUTION: The extension communication can be executed between the master units of the dwelling units in respective dwelling units which are connected to a central controller in the interphone system for the collective housing. The interphone system for the collective housing is provided with a means for displaying the room number of the extension source which displays the room number of the extension source to a display part of the master unit of the dwelling unit receiving the incoming signal.
