PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data transmission/reception with an external network without making the IP (internet protocol) address of communication equipment connected with an internal network public, and to prevent access from the external network to the communication equipment connected with the internal network. SOLUTION: An internal network 10 is connected with an external network 30 via a DMZ (demilitarized zone) segment 20, and an HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) proxy device 100 is arranged on the DMZ segment 20. When the HTTP proxy device 100 receives data from the internal network 10, an internal transmission/reception processing means 2 stores the data into a folder 5 for transmission, and an external transmission/reception processing means 3 takes out the data and transmits the data to the external network 30. In addition, when the data are received from the external network 30, the external transmission/reception processing means 3 stores the data in a folder 4 for reception, and the internal transmission/reception processing means 2 takes out the data and transmits the data to the internal network 10.
