PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of tightly fitting a refrigerant pipe to an edge portion of a through hole formed in a fin without expanding the refrigerant pipe. SOLUTION: In heat exchangers (an evaporator and a gas cooler) 157 and 154 having a fin 170 for heat exchange and a refrigerant pipe 178 passing through the fin 170, a through hole 172 having the diameter larger than the outside diameter of the refrigerant pipe 178 with the refrigerant pipe 178 passing therethrough is formed in the fin 170. A notch 174 is formed in the fin 170 toward the direction separating from the through hole 172, and the notch 174 is continuously formed to an edge portion of the through hole 172. The fin 170 at portions located on both sides of the notch 174 is bent in the longitudinal direction of the refrigerant pipe 178, and the edge portion of the through hole 172 is abutted on the refrigerant pipe 178.
