PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a cross-sectional area of a diaphragm pump used for supplying compressed air. SOLUTION: When a motor shaft 4 of a motor 2 is rotated, one of pump chambers 52 is enlarged, and a first valve body 34 opens a section between an intake passage 19 and a communicating passage 54. Therefore, fluid flowing in a case 3 from a ventilation port 6 of the case 3 passes through the intake passage 19, the communicating passage 54, and an exhaust passage 40, and flows into the enlarged pump chamber 52. When the motor shaft 4 of the motor 2 is rotated further and the pump chamber 52 is contracted, a second valve body 46 opens a section between the exhaust passage 40 and a discharge area 53. Therefore, the fluid in the pump chamber 52 is force-fed to the discharge area 53 after passing through the exhaust passage 40, and discharged from a discharge port 44. The first valve body 34 meets every diaphragm portion 24, and is vertically provided integrally with a diaphragm 23 at a position surrounded by the respective diaphragm portions 24.
