PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polyester resin pellets having good productivity and a good shape without variations. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing polyester resin pellets comprises a step of manufacturing a polyester resin in a polymerizer 10, a step of discharging the polyester resin in a strand-form from the polymerizer 10 and a step of cutting the discharged strand 40 to pelletize, wherein the polymerizer 10 is stirred during the discharging step.
