PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel sheet excellent in roping property. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing process consisting of the hot rolling, the annealing of a hot-rolled sheet, the cold rolling and the finish annealing of the ferritic stainless steel sheet in which an austenite phase is precipitated at high temperature, when hot-rolling a ferritic stainless steel slab having the constituent in which the maximum precipitationγp of the austenite phase calculated from the steel constituent is 40-60 vol.%, by the manufacturing method of the ferritic stainless steel sheet excellent in the roping property, the ratio R<SB>f</SB>/R<SB>r</SB>of the total draft R<SB>r</SB>of rough rolling composed of a plurality of passes to the total draft R<SB>f</SB>of the successive finish rolling consisting of a plurality of passes is taken as 1.10-1.20, the strain rates in the final pass and the next pass before the final pass are taken as 50-100 s<SP>-1</SP>and the completing temperature of the finish rolling is taken as 700-830°C.
