PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cost from becoming high, and in the meantime, to prevent pachinko balls from falling on a ceiling even when storage tanks or replenishing gutters or the like are broken. SOLUTION: This protecting structure for the hall ceiling in a pachinko game hall comprises an internal structure unit (33) and an external structure unit (35) which receives pachinko balls fallen from the internal structure unit. Also, the protecting structure for the hall ceiling is equipped with a circulating path component (25) for pachinko balls which is arranged on the hall attic (13b), and an alarm means (41) which detects the entrance of pachinko balls to the external structure unit and emits an alarm.
