APPARATUS FOR DETECTING GROUND HEIGHT OF REAPING DEVICE OF HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting the ground height of a reaping device with a ground contact sensor 21 resistant to breakage even if the ground contact sensor 21 is laterally slid on the ground. SOLUTION: The ground contact sensor 21 is supported on a supporting member 25 of a grass dividing frame 16 in a state tiltable around an axis X. The supporting member 25 is connected to the grass dividing frame 16 with an attaching part 51 of the front end of the member in a manner to be rotatable around a shaft Y extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine body and is forced with a spiral spring 60 to rotate to a standard rotation position to vertically move the ground contact sensor 21 around the axis X relatively to the grass dividing frame 16. A detector 22 is supported by the supporting member 25. The input shaft of the detector 22 is interlocked with the rotary supporting shaft 41 of the ground contact sensor 21 interposing an interlocking mechanism in a gear case 40 constituting the supporting member 25.
