<p>The device for detecting the environment around a vehicle, consists of a camera and a laser scanner arranged for the acquisition zone of the camera and the scanner to partly overlap, and a data processing unit which is connected to the camera and the laser scanner and designed to superpose the image information from the camera with distance information from the scanner. The camera has a mirror configuration which images the environment/surroundings as a panoramic image. An independent claim is also included for implementation of a device for detecting environment around a motor vehicle.</p> |
