CIRCUIT FOR DRIVING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL PROVIDED WITH SCAN VOLTAGE GENERATION CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A circuit for driving a plasma display panel(PDP) provided with a scan voltage generation circuit is provided to prevent the deterioration of the image quality of the overall PDP. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for driving a plasma display panel provided with a scan voltage generation circuit includes a sustain power circuit(110) and a scan voltage generation circuit(120). The sustain power circuit(110) is provided with a first power source and a first capacitor(Cs). The scan voltage generation circuit(120) is provided with a second power source, a first switch, a second capacitor(C1) and a panel capacitor(Cp). The one end of the first capacitor(Cs) is connected to the one end of the panel capacitor(Cp) as a first capacitor charged by the first power source. The first switch is switched between the second power source and the second capacitor(C1). The one end of the second capacitor(C1) is connected to the second power source through the first switch and the second end of the first capacitor(Cs) is connected to the second end of the first capacitor(Cs). And, the third voltage between the first end of the second capacitor(C1) and the first end of the first capacitor(Cs) is applied to the panel capacitor(Cp).
