<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make light exit uniformly over the whole substrate without increasing the number of lightguides plate even if a display screen is increased in size. <P>SOLUTION: According to this invention, the lightguide sheet 1 is provided with a substrate 2, a tube-like lightguide plate 3 which is arranged on the surface of the substrate by patterning and guides the introduced light along the longitudinal direction when the light is introduced from an end part 5, and a plurality of light exit ports 6 that is located at different positions on the surface of the lightguide plate 3 and makes the light guided by the lightguide plate 3 exit from the inside to the outside of the lightguide plate 3 so that the light intensity becomes almost constant over the whole surface of the substrate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
