COMMUNICATION CONNECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication connection apparatus capable of applying communication connection to a connection destination apparatus without opening communication connection management information of the connection destination apparatus connected via the Internet into public.

SOLUTION: The communication connection apparatus includes: a name/address storage section 15 for storing a name unique to the connection destination apparatus and an IP address assigned to the connection destination apparatus while making them correspond to each other; a name/address resolution section 14 for acquiring a corresponding IP address in the name/address storage section 15 on the basis of the name of the connection destination apparatus whose connection is requested from a connection source apparatus; and a conversion section 13 using the acquired IP address to apply a connection processing to the connection destination apparatus and returning a connection reply to the connection source apparatus. The communication connection to the connection destination apparatus can be realized without opening communication connection management information (IP address and administrator information or the like) of the connection destination apparatus into public. The communication connection apparatus relays communication connection between the connection source apparatus and the connection destination apparatus on the basis of the name of the connection destination apparatus. Thus, the communication connection to the connection destination apparatus can be realized without opening the communication connection management information (IP address and administrator information or the like) of the connection destination apparatus into public.
