PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent low temperature fixability, anti-offset properties, glossiness, etc. SOLUTION: The resin for a toner comprises a linear polyester resin (A) including 3-10C aliphatic diol components, a linear polyester resin (B) different from the linear polyester resin (A) and including 3-10C aliphatic diol components, and a vinyl resin (C). In the resin for a toner, when the total amount of all acid components is assumed to be 100 parts by mol, the ratio of parts by mol of the 3-10C aliphatic diol components in the linear polyester resin (B) to parts by mol of the 3-10C aliphatic diol components in the linear polyester resin (A) is in a range of 0.5-10.
