PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling information providing system capable of providing accurate traveling information in real time regarding traveling on roads such as the progress of snow removing, the climate of snow removing place, the amount of snow cover, the progress of accident processing, the congestion state, solving the problems of conventional road information provision of not being realtime or accurate. SOLUTION: In this traveling information providing system, radio terminals 1a, 1b for operators periodically notify an information collection center 3 of the present position and the environmental information influencing traveling, the information collection center 3 prepares/manages the travel information on the basis of the environmental information corresponding to the present position from the radio terminal 1 and periodically transmits the travel information via mails to the mail address of a contract user, or the radio terminals 1a, 1b periodically transmit the environmental information via mails directly to the mail address of the contract user.
