PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life monitor device to be installed in a living space in which a person to be watched resides. SOLUTION: The life monitor device is provided with a vibration detecting means 11 that is installed in the living space in which the person to be monitored resides and detects a vibration generated in the living space, an information extracting means 12 which extracts information on a vibration generated by the action of the person in the living space from the output by the vibration detecting means and a transmitting means 13 which transmits the information extracted by the information extracting means.
