PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output device which can correspond to various input/output interfaces, by using an existing portable information terminal. SOLUTION: A center control part 2037 calls various programs and data, which are made to correspond to an attachment part 201, from a ROM so as to perform them. Thus, an instruction is given to an IF controller A. On the contrary, the various programs and data, which are made to correspond to the attachment part 201, are called from the ROM and they are performed by receiving an input/output signal from the IF controller A.
