PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered ore of high strength for a blast furnace at a high yield, which maintains the strength of the sintered ore as well as the yield of the sintered ore and the productivity, even when reducing a lime content in the sintered ore in comparison with the conventional one. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the sintered ore for the blast furnace comprises coating the surface of a powder of iron oxide or a granulated substance mainly containing the powder of iron oxide, with a blend consisting of a solvent containing CaO, the powder of iron oxide and a solid fuel, so as to make a mole ratio CaO/Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of CaO to Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>into 0.5 to 2, to form an outer layer, thereby manufacturing pseudo particles with a multilayer structure, and baking the pseudo particles with the multilayer structure: or coating the surface of the powder of iron oxide or the granulated substance mainly containing the powder of iron oxide, with the blend consisting of the solvent containing CaO, the powder of iron oxide and the solid fuel, to form the outer layer, thereby manufacturing the pseudo particles with the multilayer structure, adding 5 to 20 mass% of course grains of iron oxide with respect to the whole raw material for the sintered ore to the pseudo particles with the multilayer structure, and baking them.
