The electrical connection pins are produced as metal pressings and have a rolled tube end [2] that fit into a socket. The other end has formed pins [3] that fit into holes in a circuit board. The pins have a tapered lead in section [17] with a slot [11] in the center. This gives the pins a spring characteristic for ease of retention.
