SELF-REPLICATION DETERMINING FACTOR OF EMBRYONIC STEM CELL

摘要

It is intended to provide an ES cell with forced expression of ECAT4. The ES cell with forced expression of ECAT4 can be cultured in the absence of feeder cells or LIF. It is also intended to provide a consensus sequence recognized by ECAT4, an ECAT4 enhancer, an ECAT4 promoter region and use thereof. Since it is clearly indicated that ECAT4 has a function as a transcriptional factor promoting self-replication of ES cells, it is highly useful in research and development of ES cells.
