<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow only a user who has purchased contents to browse and print the contents. <P>SOLUTION: A network server 202 generates print data by adding recording device ID acquired by a user host 204 from a printer 206 through a network interface 203 to contents, and transfers the generated print data to the user host 204. The user host 204 transfers the recording device ID transferred from the network server 202 to the printer 206.
