<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply replace a separation member having reduced sheet separation performance. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet separation and supply device 30 is provided with a paper feeding roller 2 feeding a sheet, a guide lid 17 separating and supplying sheets one by one when the sheets pass between a separation pad 5a brought into pressure contact with the paper feeding roller by a separation spring 6 and it while overlapped and provided detachably in a device main body 22 of a printer 91 equipped with the sheet separation and supply device, and a separation member 5 provided detachably on the guide lid, having the separation pad, and held by the separation spring while a pressure contact condition of the separation pad with respect to the paper feeding roller is provided between the guide lid and it. The guide lid is exposed to the outside of the device main body 22, and a guide member is taken out of the device main body to take the separation member out of the device main body, thereby the separation pad is replaced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
